Barcelona drew 1-1 against Real Betis in La Liga to climb one point ahead of Sevilla and Real Madrid halfway through the season.
Rafael Marquez tied the match with a diving header in the 60th minute after Brazilian striker Robert put Betis ahead after 36 minutes.
Barcelona, unbeaten in 12 league games, has 39 points through 19 of 38 matches. Sevilla and Madrid have 38 points each, with Valencia two points further back. Betis remains in the three-team relegation zone.
